Choose a landing area and picture how the ball will roll from there. Then select appropriate club, holding it further down the grip than normal, gripping as softly as you do for putting.
Taking a narrow stance, position with the ball in the middle. Distribute weight so that 70% is on the front foot whilst keeping your body relatively still. Imagine standing on one leg to play this shot.
As with putting rock your shoulders only to move the club back and through, keeping the backswing & follow through at an equal length.
Watch how the ball rolls on the green, as this will help you gauge the line for your putt.
